What are you proud of related to your role as a lecturer?

I am proud of being a loyal LEO lecturer since 2007, "come rain or shine," and I believe in "Sharing is caring." LEO lecturers deserve the support across all Campuses: Flint, Dearborn and Ann Arbor.

What is something you are proud of outside your role as a lecturer?

I take pride in being a LEO lecturer from Vietnam, from the Southeast Asian Language Program, who makes a difference at University of Michigan, where Vietnam now means the Vietnamese language class, and the Vietnam War is not one of the courses in the list that students search. I really mean Family, Friends, Food, Finance and Future when I offer Vietnamese language to UM students, heritage (Vietnamese American) and non-heritage students alike.

Fun Fact: What is something people might not know about you?

I am mostly seen at work on campus but I can also be found in the kitchen, in the garden or on the yoga mat; that is how I balance being the healthy and happy workaholic. I walk with my happy feet and I haven’t had a driver's license since 2007, when I started working at University of Michigan.
