Announcing the LEO t-shirt design contest

With bargaining just around the corner, it is time for us to order new LEO t-shirts and we need your help with the design.

Enter the LEO t-shirt contest! Here are the design guidelines and contest rules.

T-shirt Design Guidelines

—One color ink only, designer's choice

—Front, or front and back, only

—Designer may choose t-shirt color(s)

—Must include LEO logo and our union's name prominently: 
LEO, Lecturers' Employee Organization

—Must include this text (some or all may be small): 
LEO, Lecturers' Employee Organization, AFT Michigan Local 6244, AFL-CIO

—Must stand out in a crowd at UM, must be distinctly evident in photos of crowd

—Final, printer-ready artwork will be provided by designer in coordination 
with LEO and the printer 
 

T-shirt Contest Rules 

—All entries must be submitted by 5pm, Friday, October 19

—Submit entries as clear, black and white images 
(with description of color choices or with an additional color image)

—Entries should be submitted with images ready to post on website for members to view before Annual Convention on October 27. 

—Final judging of the entries will take place at the Annual Convention. 
The entry with the highest number of votes by attendees at the convention 
will be printed on t-shirts early in the Winter '13 term. 

—The winning designer will be awarded with resounding applause, giftie-poos, and a walk down the runway at the Annual Convention.
