Tuesday, 24 August 2010 12:53

On August 23, the LEO Union Council mailed contract ratification packets to all of the local's members. The packet includes a cover letter, the ballot itself, verification form, ballot envelope, postage-paid return envelope, and a new edition of LEO Matters containing a detailed summary of the tentative agreement.

Any dues-paying LEO member who has not received a ratification packet should contact the LEO office via phone (734-995-1813 ) or email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to request one.

Completed ballots are due in LEO's Ann Arbor office by Friday, September 10.

The LEO Union Council strongly endorses the tentative agreement, which it believes will "significantly protect members' financial situation and enhance their job security over the next three years."

Copies of the proposed articles and other documents that comprise the tentative agreement are available here.
