AFT Michigan, our state federation, is making two $1000 scholarships available to graduating high school seniors who aspire to become teachers. If your son or daughter is about to graduate from high school and is planning to pursue a future as a teacher, he/she is eligible to apply to AFT Michigan for the "2009 Rollie Hopgood Future Teachers Scholarship Award".
