LEO members protest firing of union's VP
Saturday, 03 April 2010 10:54

On a warm Good Friday afternoon, dozens of LEO members and supporters gathered on the central
campus in Ann Arbor to protest the dismissal of LEO Vice President Kirsten Herold by the Department
of English.  The yellow-shirted group chanted for justice, talked with students and campus visitors
(including tour groups), distributed flyers, and finally marched on the offices of the English Department
Chair, the Dean of LS&A, and the University Provost.  Oddly, none were available to receive the lecturers.
