Over the past 40 years, the percentage of American college teachers who are tenured or tenure-track has dropped steadily, falling to 25.1% by 2007 (27.5% in four-year institutions, calculations include graduate teaching assistants). LEO faculty are therefore part of the overwhelming majority of faculty teaching on U.S. college campuses. |
