"University of Michigan-Flint professor's food blog reviews Genesee County restaurants" The Flint Journal recently profiled Dr. Robert (Bob) Barnett and his food blog Eating Flint. Barnett (associate dean of UM-Flint's College of Arts & Sciences and a member of the administration's team in the LEO-UM contract negotiations) has been reviewing Flint-area restaurants on his web site since last September. “I want people to take a second look at their stereotypes about Flint," Barnett told The Journal. 'I want to share the stories. We have to be advocates for ourselves." Being "advocates for ourselves" -- those are words to live and eat by!
