Jan Worth-Nelson, LEO member and Lecturer IV of English at UM-Flint, has won a Flinty!

The award comes in the form of an engraved cigarette lighter, making it more practical than most literary prizes.

It's an appropriate award for Jan, whose writing gives off sparks and whose teaching sets students on fire.

Metaphorically, that is.
