AAUP officer to speak on academic freedom

Gary Rhoades, American Association of University Professors Executive Secretary,  will give a lecture at noon on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in the Wolverine Room of the Michigan Union.  The lecture is entitled "Academic Freedom and Shared Governance in Hard Times."  It is sponsored by the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor AAUP Chapter, the Academic Freedom Lecture Fund, and the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs. The lecture is open to the public.
